At Ocean Power Engines, we take great care in ensuring that your marine engine or part arrives safely and on time. This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered so you know exactly what to expect when purchasing from us.

1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received and verified. Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation with your order details and an estimated shipping timeline. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day.

2. Shipping Times and Methods

Shipping times vary based on the product type, availability, and destination. Most marine engines and large items ship within 5–10 business days, while smaller accessories or parts typically ship within 3–7 business days.

We partner with trusted freight and courier carriers to ensure safe and reliable delivery. Shipping methods include:

  • Freight delivery for large engines and heavy equipment
  • Standard ground shipping for smaller parts and accessories

If a product is on backorder or requires additional lead time, our team will notify you promptly.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the product weight, dimensions, and delivery location. In some cases, free or discounted shipping promotions may apply. Customers are responsible for any additional delivery fees, including re-delivery charges due to missed appointments or incorrect addresses.

4. Freight Deliveries

For engines and other large items shipped by freight:

  • A valid contact number must be provided at checkout for the shipping carrier to arrange delivery.
  • Deliveries are made to commercial or residential addresses with adequate access for large trucks.
  • Someone must be available at the delivery address to inspect and sign for the shipment.

Please inspect the shipment upon arrival. If there is visible damage to the packaging or product, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately at contact@oceanpowerengines.com with photos of the issue.

5. International Shipping

At this time, Ocean Power Engines ships within the United States only. For international inquiries, please contact our team to discuss available options or special arrangements.

6. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number and carrier details so you can follow your shipment’s progress in real time.

7. Delays and Exceptions

While we make every effort to ensure timely delivery, shipping delays can occur due to weather, carrier issues, or supply chain disruptions. Ocean Power Engines is not responsible for delays beyond our control but will assist in resolving any carrier-related issues as quickly as possible.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated time, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery (or the expected delivery date) at contact@oceanpowerengines.com. We will work with the carrier to file a claim and ensure that a replacement or refund is processed promptly.
