Return and Refund Policy

At Ocean Power Engines, we are committed to providing high-quality marine engines and parts to ensure optimal performance for your vessel. We stand behind the quality of our products and aim for complete customer satisfaction. Please review our return and refund policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Eligibility for Returns
To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met: returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery, the product must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging, and all accessories, manuals, and included parts must be returned with the engine. A proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
2. Return Process
Contact our customer service team at contact@oceanpowerengines.com to initiate a return authorization. Our team will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. Carefully package the engine or product to prevent damage during shipping. Ship the item using a trackable and insured carrier. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the product was defective or damaged upon arrival. Unauthorized returns without an RMA may be rejected or delayed.
3. Inspection and Approval
Once your return is received, our inspection team will examine the product for eligibility. If the return is approved, a refund will be issued within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Returns that fail inspection due to signs of installation or misuse will be shipped back at the customer’s expense.
4. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a damaged or defective engine, report the issue to contact@oceanpowerengines.com within 48 hours of delivery. Provide photos or videos showing the issue and any damage to the packaging. Once verified, we will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost.
5. Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund, provided the engine has not yet shipped. Once shipping has been initiated or the order is custom-built, cancellations are no longer possible.
6. Refunds
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method only. Please note that shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, and refunds may take 3–5 business days to reflect, depending on your payment provider.
